Roses of the Past

Made for Revscarecrow's second game jam, Roses of the Past is an action platformer built in GMS2 that features a distinct sense of flow based on an enemy grabbing and throwing mechanic, as well as a generally high speed. Please note that this game lacks music. For more details on its development, go ahead and download the game for free, and then look at the readme in the zip file. Also note that it is my every intention to continue, in one form or another, the development of this game. Thank you!

For Game Jam Players: please note that the "Writing Tweaked" version was finished after the jam due date. However, given the significantly improved writing and lack of any other significant changes, it comes highly recommended.
